Okay...
I was wandering around the streets of the Captital city browsing my favourite manga outlets (very hazardous to my bank account). I cam home with nibs, ink and a couple of editions of Initial D, thinking 'why not give drawing this a try'.
First time inker, so this image is full of errors. -Probably even more are visible to the trained eye. *shrugs*
As always, I had load of fun doing it, putting in an estimated 25-30 hours on it from start to finish. Definately the one that's taken me the longest to complete, loads of things to be learned as I go along. For those not familiar with the vehicles and drivers: from right to left; Mazda RX-7 FC3s, Toyota AE86 Trueno and a Mazda RX-7 FD3s. Drivers; Takahashi Ryuosuke, Fujiwara Takumi and Takahashi Keisuke.
Shigeno's style is rather scetchy and rough round the edges, which has been a recurring pattern lately in my choice of mangakas. I can't really do it justice, but the series is highly addicting. Am ploughing through the 4th Stage of the anime and drooling my way through vol 18 of the manga. -It has cars in it... so I'm happy!

i lov initial d!!!!!! i just started watching it because it just showed up on netflix and i am really into racing. i am loving it. its funny how the anime style changes throughout the seasons but atleast its changing for the better. well except the car effects. everything is good in the cars except the drifting......it seem less realistic from the first season......but well thats just the second season. the movie and the fourth one got better. they should keep continuing this if u ask me. and keisuke and ryousuke and takumi are damn sexy!! but i like keisuke best..
